    It is an institute of excellence addressing all deserving students having a marked intellectual curiosity.

  • What is the School for Advanced Studies?

    It joins the training course for students enrolled in degree courses at the University of Udine.
  • Admission

    The selection for the admission to the first year provides for an admission competition based on tests only, while the selection for the admission to the fourth year provides for a competition based on qualifications and tests. The students of the School are entitled to free board and lodging, to the exemption from the taxes of the University of Udine, and to many other services, making their stay both comfortable and profitable, both in studying and as to their free time.

  • Advanced Courses

    Besides attending the lessons of their degree course at the University, the students strengthen their educational path by means of activities both related to their discipline area and having an interdisciplinary approach. Meetings, series of lectures, laboratory activities and advanced courses of foreign languages are added to the above.

  • The University Residence

    The university residence is sited in the prestigious di Toppo Wassermann Palace, built at the beginning of the eighteenth century by the Polcenigo family and later, in the twentieth century, turned into a place of education and formation. The building has been completely renovated and today it boasts areas meant for academic activities as well as recreational ones and for the organization of cultural events.
